After publishing an article on the red heifer and end time prophecy, I received an invitation to come back as a guest for Michaela Renee Johnson’s podcast. She wanted to discuss the red heifer and other related end time topics. I accepted the invite since she is a very good interviewer and my experience with her last time went well. The conversation went well. I felt we barely scratched the surface of what we could have talked about.
Clarifications
Conducting an interview live can lead me to not be as precise with my words as I would like. Here I want to clarify some things that may have confused people.
Clickbait Headlines
I mentioned early in the interview that there are a lot of clickbait headlines out there. I think there are real incentives for people who teach Bible prophecy or report on events to drive up fear and drama. Doing these things can often bring more viewers, support, or book sales. I’m not saying everyone who teaches Bible prophecy or reports on events does this, but incentives exist to overhype and sensationalize events.
I try to avoid engaging in this behavior because I detest it. I don’t like to sensationalize events. I don’t want to prey on people’s fears. I just want people to understand what is going on and what is going to happen.
The Third vs Fourth Seal
I want to acknowledge that I misspoke with regards the death of 25% of the world’s population. I said in passing that the third seal would bring the death of 25% of the world’s population. That is incorrect. It’s the 4th seal that will bring that. Here is the fourth seal:
(7) And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. (8) And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. (Revelation 6:7-8)
Fourth seal conditions are likely to be present on earth during the latter part of the first half of the tribulation. The extreme famine conditions of the third seal will likely be a major cause of the high death toll during the time of the fourth seal.
The Fibonacci Sequence
Also, near the end, we spoke about the signature of God in creation. I mentioned the golden ratio. The proper term that I was thinking of but didn’t come to mind was the Fibonacci sequence. If you have not heard of the Fibonacci sequence, it’s a phenomenon that we find in all creation. Many view it as very strong evidence that God exists.
