The Most Important Thing
The most important recommendation I have for people who have just begun to study Bible prophecy or want to begin is to make sure that you are saved first. What good is having a large understanding of Bible prophecy if you’re not going to Heaven when you die? Understanding Bible prophecy can help you avoid many of the spiritual traps that most people will fall prey to in the future, but if you are unsaved you are no better off in the long-run than non-Christians who know nothing about Bible prophecy. This page is for people who want to get saved and for people who are unsure whether they will go to Heaven when they die. Please watch the following video first.
Read This After the Video
Please consider the words in this section after watching the video.
- Realize that God loves you. – John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
- Realize that everyone is a sinner. – Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”
- Realize that sin has a price that must be paid. – Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
- Realize that Jesus Christ died and rose again to pay your price. – Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Pray, ask Jesus Christ to be your Saviour, and claim His promise of eternal life. – Romans 10:9, 13 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved… For whosever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”.
