Will There Be An End Time Revival? Video Transcript
Some believe there will be a worldwide revival during the end times. Some cite the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom to the world in Matthew 24:14 as proof of there being an end time revival:
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
However, the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom is recorded in Revelation 14:6-7. Its message calls on people to fear God for the time of His judgment is at hand:
(6) And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, (7) Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
There’s no indication that this message will cause the world to return to God. Also, Christ asked would He find faith on the Earth when He comes in Luke 18:8:
I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
This question indicates that there may not be many believers on Earth when Christ comes.
I do not believe there will be a worldwide revival during the end times. Faith will be hard to come as Christians are martyred during the Great Tribulation.
