When Is the Sealing of the 144,000? Video Transcript
The 144,000 are sealed by God to identify them as His property and to also serve as a way to protect them from the judgments to fall upon the wicked.
According to Revelation 7, the 144,000 are sealed before four angels of God work to harm the earth and the sea.
Revelation 7:1-3: (1) And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. (2) And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, (3) Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
This suggests that they will be sealed before the start of the Trumpet Judgments since many of those judgments will impact the earth and the sea.
I believe they will be sealed at the start of the Two Witnesses’ ministry around the midpoint of the Tribulation. The 144,000 will receive protection from the chaos on the earth during the second half of the Tribulation.
