Revelation 6:3-4: What Does the Second Seal of Revelation 6 Represent? Video Transcript

What does the second seal in Revelation 6 represent? Christ opens the seal and what follows is a red horse. The rider of the horse takes away peace from the earth:

(3) And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. (4) And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword."

This seal represents a period of great global conflict that will exist during the first half of the tribulation. One of the many combatants will be the Antichrist, who will wage war against the strongest opponents and win. Many people will die from the wars waged at that time.
