Revelation 6:7-8: What Does the Fourth Seal in Revelation 6 Represent? Video Transcript

What does the fourth seal in Revelation 6 represent? Christ opens the seal and what follows is a pale horse. The rider of the horse was named Death and Hell followed him. The horsemen had the power to kill ¼ of the earth in a variety of ways:

"(7) And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. (8) And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth."

This seal represents the huge loss of life that will take place because of the wars, famine, and horrible conditions that will exist on the earth. 25% of the world’s population will die.

The huge loss of life will likely be seen during the first half of the tribulation.
