Revelation 3:10: Keeping the Church of Philadelphia Video Transcript
Christ promises in Revelation 3:10 to keep the Church of Philadelphia from the hour of testing that will impact the whole world.
Revelation 3:10: "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth."
Many think that Revelation 3:10 is proof that the Church will be taken away before the Tribulation.
However, the Greek word for “keep” does not support this conclusion. The word “keep” means that the Church of Philadelphia will be guarded while in midst of danger.
In other words, the Church of Philadelphia will receive a degree of divine protection while remaining on Earth during the time of testing: the Great Tribulation. They will not be removed as many would like to believe.
The Church will be on Earth during the Great Tribulation.
